I just installed J river to see if I get the same thing. I can say that the track text IS working for me. latest version G-force 5.1 and Jriver 18

I can confirm a few things. Running J.River version 18 I never had an issue with the track info. Installing the latest 19 however introduced a weird bug where if I used Gizmo (the android controller for J.River) sometimes it would display the track info and sometimes it would not. Closing J.River and restarting fixed it, also simply selecting a song within J.River would fix it.
But then I rebooted my system the next day and this bug was totally gone. I would suggest that if you already have rebooted your PC and still have the problem uninstall G-Force then re-install it then reboot your PC. Make sure J.River is closed when you uninstall/reinstall it.
That should fix you. Works perfectly here under both MC 18 and 19 latest build.
State the exact build number you are running if that does not work for you.

I keep the same error message
I am using g-force 511 on Jriver 19 under Windows 7 64bit of Korean version
Trackinfo not be shown on Jriver 19 ,18
but an older version of Gforce than 5 and the latest Whitecap shows trackinfo moderately
I keep the same error message
" unicode Encode Error.."
By any chance, because of Window 7 of Korean version ?
I am not sure it is
I guess you just tested it on Windows of English version

Hi zeotta
my screen shot shows the track text is working in J river although you may have a point concerning the korean version of Windows.
Just guessing here,
When you say " an older version of G-force than 5 and the latest Whitecap shows trackinfo moderately" is the info in english or korean? maybe the new G-force doesnt read korean to well..
Re: I keep the same error message
I think it must be a bug with the Korean version of windows or something else went wrong. It does in fact work flawlessly now for my on English Windows 7 x64 J.River 18 and 19. I'd still say uninstall - reinnstall the plugins just to see.zeotta wrote:I am using g-force 511 on Jriver 19 under Windows 7 64bit of Korean version

I did also immediately have a problem though the moment I put J.River 19 but it went away. Has not come back since then,Knock on wood.
Re: Works
You did install version 19 though on your PC and 19 is a pre-release or early release. It has some bugs. Worth noting though that it changes the audio drivers J.River uses so installing 19 effects 18. I noticed this immediately the short time I had the track info bug because the first thing I did was go see if it had the same issue on 18 and it did but only after I installed 19. They mentioned this on the J.River forum that it changes the audio drivers.zeotta wrote:I installed Gforce 511 on my friend's computer with English version of Windows and it worked like a dream .I guess Gforce 511 has a bug on a system other than English version of Windows
Anyway its hard to lay the blame anywhere but it's probably with the pre-release and perhaps your version of windows. I'd guess it would be fixed when version 19 finally is released as the main version.
Only thing you could do is uninstall version 19 but you might have to uninstall 18 as well and then re-install it. Or just wait for them (J.River of Sound spectrum) to fix it when MC 19 is final.
Was it working ok before you installed version 19 ?
Hello zeotta
I will repeat my original advice. Your issue would probably have been resolved by now.
