Standalone issues? for you experts

Post by Travlin »

I had raised some questions about the standalone version during beta testing and let it drop to see how the code settled out so now I want to toss this out to you guys.

I run the standalone 95% of the time streaming Pandora. It will be running for hours at a time and some things I have noticed are making me a little nuts.

During beta I had sent an email to the gurus that there was no response to the audio input, and got back "it works for me" As the RC came out I was able to use the [ and ] keys to adjust the preamp input levels and was able to get the software to obviously respond to audio input. Later in the day GF was no longer responding. I have tried jacking up the preamp levels with the keys and I no longer even get the scrolling level values on the left of the screen.

I am running a current ASUS mb with realteck sound chips, outputting through fiber to a receiver. ALL sound levels within windows 8 are jacked up to max and the output sound level is controlled with the receiver.

I would love to get this issue figured out so I can go onto getting the graphics dialed in

any ideas?

LOL as the perfect example I just not lit up GF and I have audio response.

Far I haven't pinned down what the trigger is for operating or not, guess Ill have to keep playing with it to see if I can figure out what breaks it.
