G-Force without ads

Post by Moggz »

Hi,

I'd really like to be able to pay to remove the ads from the g-force trial download.

I understand what the v-bar and control panel stuff does, but I don't want any of this extra control or features. I just want g-force to do it's fantastic visualisations without loads of ads and hilarious quotes over the top. I'm totally happy with the default automated fx of the demo and don't want to make any alterations to the way it sequences visuals.

I'm sure lots of other people would be happy to pay for this, and so long as the cost wan't unreasonable it would surely help discourage people from downloading or creating illegal cracked versions.

:?: Fast food lunch in the US is now about $7. The Gold version is $20. What exactly would you consider reasonable?

Hey,

Well, obviously if it has less features then 'reasonable' is an amount that's less than for the fully featured version.

I guess something similar to download apps for phones and such - somewhere between $3.75 - $7.51. Literally as a cost just for removing the ads, but not for any of the extra tech developments of G-Force Gold.

Also, you seem to miss the point. Why would I pay $20 to install software that I have no intention of using? I don't want the v-bar or additional visual controls so I have no intention of paying anything for those things.

I'm simply asking if the product could be made available in a different format at a different cost for customers who want the product packaged in a different way.

If the company that makes a digital product doesn't provide it to the user in a format which they want to consume, then it surely increases the likelihood that the user will look for a free illicit alternative? I can't be the only person who wants this, however I have no intention of downloading a cracked copy as that would mean installing the software that I don't want to install.

I literally just want to pay sound-spectrum to remove the ads from the demo.

I havent had to install a trial in years, what products did you see advertised and what "hilarious quotes" did you see flashed over the top?

also If you want to "compare" other music visualizers to G-force you can, but please refrain from posting any links to other progs. If you start posting links to progs you want G-force to be like I will delete this thread immediatly and you will be banned from this forum. :D

Hey,

Yeah I don't want to sell any thing I want to buy something, lol.

I think it's just the standard g-force trial. Lot's of ads for upgrade to g-force Gold and quotes such as "The V-bar is as much a part of my worklife now as email", and "...I dare not leave for fear of missing a few moments of this fabulous stuff which feels as if it is brushing the dust off my soul".

I don't really need to compare it to anything as all I want is g-force itself, just not the gold version with customisation options and v-bar - just the default visuals without the upgrade boxes.

Just thought I'd put it out there as an idea.

Hello Moggz

You either buy the product or you don't - it's your choice.

I am now locking this thread.
