G-force made my hair turn gray & fall out

Post by redrooster »

Hooray I finally got it going (g-force) I uninstalled and re-installed for the umpteenth time but this time I didn't untick the document download and permission to snoop part,that was the only difference! So there's a bit of feedback for future reference. Alls well now except the fullscreen wont stay on,would this be driver related? And what is the driver for g-force? I have asked this before but I have had no reply to my question. Anyone got any idea? :idea:

[Win7] Edit(Append): "C:\Program Files (x86)\SoundSpectrum\G-Force\Scripts\Startup.txt"

Code: Select all

SetFullscreen( true );

"A driver?" .... "Already installed in new computer?" I know this may sound dumb, and I mean no insult, but are you referring to GForce the graphic card, as opposed to G-Force the visualization software?

It is G-force blue visualization exactly the same as G-force platinum except it is not of the same quality it looks like one of the first versions they made. NEC the manufacturer of my computer must have had a special version made up for their computers back in 2007 and included it with a software package. I have just re-installed the northbridge chipset drivers and that fixed the problem of G-force not working the full screen problem was fixed by increasing the hertz from 60hz to 75hz. I'm suspecting that my Vista O/S has been the problem all along G-force had just set it off into a spiraling depression LoL I had the same type of problems with a skype update once.

Hello redrooster

It's really good news that at last you have G-Force up and, running again. At the end of the day that's what we all wanted to hear.

I don't think we are ever going to solve "what the heck is G Force Blue". From memory I believe the first version of G-Force was available in 1998.

If you are thinking of a fresh install of Vista make sure you keep a copy of all those drivers.

Good Luck and, enjoy G-Force. :)

Hello All

Today I received information from SoundSpectrum explaining that G Force Blue was a very basic version of G-Force (free trial) for Windows Media Centre. The idea being to encourage users to upgrade to the full retail version.
