No Album Art when using MusicMatch

Post by gvan »

Hello Everyone,

I’ve recently downloaded G-Force Gold (version 2. eight) and was noticing although the FAQ documentation identifies MusicMatch as one of the media players that support album art when using the G-Force visualizer. However, when running G-Force with my MusicMatch (version 10) media player all I get when a tune changes is text message indicating the song title.

Here’s the question… is there an error in the FAQ documentation or do I have problem with my media player?

Hi Greg, I have never been able to display Album Art in MM8 or MM9, but when I installed MM10, with both MM and GF as they came out of the box, Album Art DID display, but MM10 was such a total piece of crap, flaky and unstable, that I downgraded to MM9 until they come up with a better release. I'm sure this doesn't help you much, but at least you know it can be done.
Take care.

Hi gvan! It's me again. It just upgraded again to MM10 (build 10002047b_ENU) and reinstalled GF 2.8. The new version of MM10 is much more stable than the 10001025_ENU build that I tried back in December, before downgrading to MM9 again, and it does not crash every 10-15 minutes. You must reinstall GF after installing MM10, but I am getting both cover-art and track-text without making any changes from the default GF settings. I hope this helps... finally! Take care.
