Need some help here guys!!!
I guess I am completelty lost when it comes to this program. Is there a way to control the visualizations? I play in a band and we are trying to add some visualizations to our music so I would like to have some control over it. I would also like to add images and save sequences. Will this program do this and if not do any of you know of one that will. Let me know and thanks for your help!! -Josh

One place to start is to hit the H key while the program is running. Then play with the possibilities. In particular, the keys on the left end of the keyboard let you get a feel for the elements of the display -- colormaps, flowfields, etc. There are two kinds of things you can change. One set relates to hardware -- stuff like sampling rates for input and screen controls for the output. The other set relates to what color and moving shapes are in action from second to second. You can write a little script in a simple language to control that. This takes time, but every statement in the program is a straightforward order to change one thing about the display.

Couoldn't have laid it out better myself. The F gand G keys control slideshow mode; G turns it on and F does the opposite.
The Y key allows you to manually insert a particle and the Shift-Y combo does the same with a random sprite, i.e. an image or photo you can put into the sprites folder.
There are, of course, other options too. have fun with them and feel free to ask questions if something's a bit confusing to you. TThere are otheres here who are better equipped than I to answer scripting questions; so I'm sure they can be of assistance to you there.

As Roger and JayPro have indicated, you can access a lot of functionality through our keystroke commands and/or through writing your own scripts. You will also find that our G-Force Documentation provides a lot of detail for advanced features.
Separately, please be aware that G-Force Gold is strictly for individual / non-commercial use. If you or your band are going to be playing in commercial or public venues, you will need to contact sales@ soundspectrum.com for a commercial use license. We enjoy working with bands and would look forward to hopefully working with you.
