Question about boot file

Is there anywhere I can dissolve my ignorance on how the boot file values work without reading pages and pages about C/C++?

Anyone ever thought of putting up an example page? Like, "Well, when you decrease this it does this because this does this."

I realize (and agree) that it's very unreasonable to have users learn the boot file in order to customize G-Force. However, it won't be too long before we see a big change in how you control and customize G-Force.
