Hi,

is it possible to launch Aeon in Full Screen mode? I want to use it standalone on a Mac and want to show visual effects immediatly after booting the machine (having Aeon as start-up object).

best regards,

Heiko

Thanks for your quick reply. But maybe my posting was misunderstanding. I know how to start Aeon automatically after booting. But it will start in window mode and I have to press a key to enter full screen mode. What I want is to start Aeon in full screen mode without having to press a key.

Hello john_j

To the best of my knowledge you are only able to enter and exit full-screen mode by the use of the keystroke "Shift Enter" or "Shift Return".

You can always check with SoundSpectrum:

Okay, I am on a PC, so I should probably just keep my mouth shut, but on Win7, if you edit:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SoundSpectrum\Aeon\Resources\Common\Startup.txt

and add this to the top of the file

SetFullscreen(1);

it works the way you want for Standalone, WinAmp, and WMP

That's it - perfect! Thank you very much!!!

You can find the same file on a Mac in the user's library:

/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/SoundSpectrum/Aeon/Resources/Common/Startup.txt

Hello Frank

Over the years jerohm has made so many contributions to this forum he should probably be on the payroll. His knowledge of coding is second to none.
Well done once again jerohm.
