AEON 3.1 'set' buttons not working

Hello there,

Huge fan of all of the software and have used them for many years. I downloaded the latest versions of Aeon and Winter Wonders platinum recently and the 'set 1-5' buttons are not storing any scene/color any longer. I am hoping someone can help me. The 'set 1-5' buttons on previous versions did indeed work for me. I've tried this in itunes and also on different computers and none work. This feature is very important to me.

Thank you for responding. These messages have already been sent. The glitch still exists. I have not heard from anyone on this since December 15th. I am no pro, but I would think that this is something that could be resolved easily. I do hope someone can help me.

I have downloaded the 3.1 version of Aeon and the set 1-5 buttons are not storing the chosen scene and color as they have in previous versions of Aeon. The buttons do click but they do not store. This seems to be a version error as I have tried it in both WMP and i-tunes. Please let me know if this is something that is being looked at and when, if at all, a fixed version will be released. I just had paid to have both Winter Wonders and Aeon renewed and the 'set' buttons are very important to me. (The same problem exists in the newest version of Winter Wonders as well). I appreciate your programs and look forward to hearing back from you.

Your Original Message:
I just downloaded the new Aeon and purchased the new Winter Wonders. Both are awesome and have great new additions.
The 1-5 numbers are not storing the desired (or any) theme that I make as the prev versions did. It is happening in both new programs. I use these quite a lot and would like to know how I can get this fixed or if I need to downgrade to the previous verions. Please get in touch with me as soon as you can. I appreciate your help with this.

SoundSpectrum Reply:
Hello Joche,

I apologize for the delay in response.

Our 1-5 presets should be working as normal within our current versions of Aeon and Winter Wonders. Please note that when you see a Scene and ColorMap configuration you like you must first press the "Set" button and then the number you wish to store to. To launch this preset, simply press the number. Also note that if shuffling is turned on, though your preset will display when pressed it will also shuffle to a new Scene when the slideshow interval is reached. To turn this off, click on the "Scenes" portion of your on-screen menu.

Let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Thank you for your response. I have been using Aeon and Winter since they became available and I am sure that I am 'programming' properly and it is not sticking. It goes through the motions but when pressed, it does not activate the new scene. Please let me know what I need to do if you are sure that it does indeed work properly. Thanks Paul!

I have now tried again and have reinstalled Aeon and Winter and neither program's 'set' buttons are saving the desired scene. This is definitely just a minor bug. As I have been using it for so long, I know how to make it work. I reinstalled the previous version that I had saved and the 'set' keys are indeed working. This option is extremely important to me and I would be most appreciative and grateful if someone would look into this furthur. Thank you in advance for your help.

If it makes you feel better, the problem seems to extend to the GF5 beta also... (which kinda makes sense... being reusable code and all)

That does make me feel better that it isnt just me. Perhaps there's only a little prog error that can be fixed easily.
