Been playing around with it since last night. I see a lot of issues has been resolved. Just keeps getting better.

Now if only they would fix the dreaded password prompt on the screen saver for windows 7 users.

I am guessing this happens cause AEON wants to disable the screen saver when running and that the way its doing so is fine for XP but not for Windows 7. The side effect being that it changes something in the registry that enabled the password prompt even though AEON is no longer running. Only ways I can see to fix it is to fork it and have a Windows 7+ specific version or have it be aware that it is installed under windows 7/8 and to set that token differently.

Windows 7 is now over half the market share of Windows users and the now 10 year old XP is finally on the decline so maybe making windows 7 priority would be wise.

Not a big deal as simply opening the screen saver tab after running Aeon and simply changing anything and then closing it stops it from happening or disabling the screen saver altogether fixes it completely but hope this issue is finally ratified.

Actually juxtiphi has given incorrect information, below is the official statement from SoundSpectrum regarding the BETA list:-
"If you own a Platinum license code for a SoundSpectrum software product, you can become a beta tester using this page. When you're a beta tester, you'll see additional links on your product download page and you'll receive e-mail notifications whenever a new beta release is available."

Hi, anyone know if this version fixes the pure virtual function call crash problems in wmc x64. Sadly I have not been able to use this program at all due to this bug.

Thanks

Hello cwoolrich

I believe by the time it's going to take to upgrade to the Platinum version then register as a Beta tester the new version will be released.

If you want to become a Beta tester go ahead and upgrade now, then register as a Beta tester so when the next round of Beta's are available you will already be on the list.
