KillRunningScripts();
Hi, I use a lot of scripts to do different things based upon the song title. I have noticed that if I put KillRunningScripts(); at the top of a script, that all running scripts are killed including the script that called the function. When I run a script, I would like to kill all other scripts that ...

Anyone had GF running in a Virtual Machine?
Hi, I am curious as to whether anyone has had GF running within a Virtual Machine using a porduct such as VMware or Microsoft Virtual PC/Server? I have tried within VMware but I could not get GF to take input from Winamp, although the native Winamp AVS vis works fine. GF just puts up a black screen ...

Can you stop GF from moving when there is no audio in?
Hi,
In older versions of GF, when the media player stopped, then the GF vis would stop as well. In recent GF versions, when there is no music from the player, GF carries on moving.
Is there a way to stop GF from moving when there is no audio from a player (I use Winamp)?
Thanks in advance...

GF3 Action when no sound
Hi, I really like the new features of GF3. However I have noticed that if there is no sound source i.e. between songs, that GF3 will keep on moving and changing. Is there a way to stop this perhaps via a pref setting? I would like to stop GF from moving/changing between songs like GF2 did as I put u...

Is there a way to tell when GForce is in full screen mode?
Hi, Great app can't wait for GF3. A question for coders ... Does anyone know how to tell programmatically when GF is in full screen mode? I have tried using the GetWindowPlacement API, but GF always shows as being a Normal window. The reason is, that I am writing an app to control the behaviour of W...

Correction
That should have been GF version 2.8 not 2.7.4 in my previous comment. Cheers.

Sprites Not Moving - Fix found
Hi, For many recent GF versions I have not been able to get foreground sprites to move around the screen. (tried many PCs, different Op Systems and tried under WMP and Winamp, tried adjusting values in Default.txt and creating unique scripts etc. as well). Discovered today (using GF 4.7.4) that if I...

Sprites and Scripts not Working
Hi, Have upgraded to GF271 and still have the problem. Here's what I've got and what I've tried... Running = WinXP SP2 with all updates + Winamp 5.05 If I remove all of GF and fresh install(no editing of any files) then put a basic picture (gif) into Sprites/(Auto Foregrounds), I always get the pict...

Suggestion
Hi, Historically I have always preferred WC to GF, but since GF has developed in leaps and bounds, I can only really use GF as a vis for the charity events that I operate. Is there any possibility of providing WC support within GF? ie. merge the two, because I would love to see some of the effects o...

Sprites not moving for last 3 versions of GF
Hi,
Great Vis. I am having trouble with foreground sprites not moving. Has happened since the last 3 versions of GF including 2.7 They only appear in the centre. Have tried adjusting the random 25% chance factor but no luck. Have also tried on 2 PCs. Anyone else got this problem.
Cheers DJ

Can you run an app from a script?
Hi, Firstly great vis. I was wondering if it was possible to run an external app from within a script? The reason ... I wrote an app to take still shots from a webcam and I'd like to script in the ability to take photos then put these up as sprites within GF a few seconds after the photo is taken. G...

Video support in G-Force
Hi, I'm having trouble getting any videos to appear in GF. Got foreground and background pics and scripts working OK though. I've got the latest free Quicktime for Windows installed, but nothing happens when vids are placed in Sprites folders. Are there any tricks to getting videos going, for instan...
