Wow! Excellent news! Honestly, I haven't been active within this community for years now... But earlier today, I received an email from y'all gifting me a new update to SoftSkies for being a "loyal" customer. You guys (Andy, et al.) are wonderful; glad to hear that you're still at it! :P These music...

I've posted this before, but here is the official phpBB spam thread... http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=427852 Unfortuanetely, phpBB is one of the most popular free forum apps out there, so - it goes hand-in-hand with being the most popular for bots to be coded for... The thread will give ...

Weird... I've been (or so I thought) on the Beta list since SoftSkies started. But, I received no notification, nor did I see the 1.1 beta in the Download section.

Anywayz, I signed back up to the list, and see it now...

You can take a 'snapshot' of G-Force at anytime by pressing the ` key... (top-left under ESC on most keyboards)... This will drop a Bitmap image on your desktop... From there you can do whatever you want with the image; make it a MySpace background, or any background for that matter... ...oh! and be...

By mods, I meant modifications, not moderators... :D

But, anywayz - if the mods wanna' read up on mods :? and phpBB spam/bots: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=427852

but, you'd have to be a board admin to do anything effective with limiting these bot registrations...

G-force only works on the monitor with the task bar in it a.k.a. the Primary display (1)... :) I just went back and checked my setup... but on my system G-Force and SoftSkies will 'paint' on both (1) and (2) in all modes; cloned, spanned, and dual-view. Although, I've seen what you describe many ti...

Because of phpBB's popularity, these boards get hammered by bots on a daily basis... Unless you put in some mods, you're pretty much guaranteed to have two to three bots register per day... I f*&%in' hate all forms of spam...

The problem has to do with your video card/driver... Not really a problem, but more of how the driver tells the hardware to work... Most cards will only output 3D processed (or whatever... don't know the terminology) video to your primary display... I assume you're running your display in Extended o...

No, unfortunately that's not the case... I cannot click in MediaCenter... apart from the strange behavior I detailed (or tried to) here: SoftSkies boots, menu pops up, and I try to click a menu, but... Whenever I click anywhere in the Viz window, the Viz window exits and I'm back to my big blue play...

nevermind...

:oops: don't know how I missed it the first time (comparing Pref files), but changing the following preference will do the trick:

DMln=0

Now, no more menu poppin' up!

So I just read your post, and decided to go back and quadruple check myself that the mouse doesn't work, before I posted... And as I expected, it doesn't. Hey Andy... Thanks for the response... The problem is, inside of Win MediaCenter I cannot navigate the SoftSkies menu. I understand this is because Microsoft's player won't allow keystrokes to be passed to the viz window... So anywayz, by default SoftSkies will display it's menu and the 'Welcome to ...
