How do I make the onscreen controlls not show up?

Post by Chum »

When the visualization starts I see the stuff along the bottom of the screen (like a Facebook link) and the stuff on the side for making adjustments. I can click the mouse to make them disappear. I would rather they not show up until I click the mouse on the screen. I have searched for this in the faqs and found something about adjusting some preferences, but cannot find them in my computer. supposed to be under C:/documents and settings. I do not have "documents and settings". I believe I need to change UI settings.

Using Windows 10 Pro

They appear by default and as far as I know, there's no way to reverse it. BTT will know if it can be edited in the prefs file.

Hello Chum

Are you using Windows 10? Which media player are you using? Once I know that I can tell you how to stop the GUI from showing.

Hi BTT

Is there a way to make the toolbar shut off when you exit G-force proper?

Hello juxtiphi

You will need to go into AppData / Roaming / SoundSpectrum / G-Force / ToolBar Preferences

You should see the following:-

Audio.Preamp.Scale = 50
Audio.Response.Scale = 50
AutoStartVBar = 0
ColorMap.Interval = 50
FlowField.Interval = 50
FrameRate = 50
Particle.Duration = 50
Particle.Interval = 50
PrefsVersion = 350
Sprite.Duration = 50
Sprite.ExternalDir.IncludeSubDirs = ""
Sprite.ExternalDir.Path = 0
Sprite.Interval = 50
Theme.Name = "(All Configs)"
Toolbar.AdvancedDrawerOpen = 1
Toolbar.AlwaysOnTop = 0
Toolbar.AutoClose = 0
Toolbar.IconOptions = 2
Toolbar.Position.x = 15
Toolbar.Skin.Name = "Factory Blue"
Toolbar.StartMinimized = 0
Toolbar.ToolTips.Enabled = 1
Toolvar.Position.y = 15
WaveShape.Interval = 50

Change:- Toolbar.AutoClose = 0 to Toolbar.AutoClose = 1
.
