Post by urquina »

i´m trying to play a videosprite which stays completly untouched by gforce (especially colormaps) and is only overlayed by some white colored particles/waveshapes..

thanks a lot and best regards,, christian

Hello urquina

I am tempted to say if you want to run a video untouched by G-Force then simply don't use it. G-Force needs and looks for FlowFields, WaveShapes, Particles and ColorMaps so I think you will not achieve what you are wanting to do. I suggest you contact Brandon (SoundSpectrum) by clicking on the link below.

hi,

thx for the link..
i guess i havent explained myself very well...in my understanding -related to the sprites content- all gforce components except colormaps, are some kind of overlay...
in fact, it´s only those colormaps the videocontent should be left untouched by...
resp. i would need something like a *transparent/white* colormap to have particles/waveshapes visible above my content...

Hello urquina

Over the years I have created hundreds of ColorMaps for G-Force. After your last post I believe I can help you out. If you can wait a few days I will create some ColorMaps which I hope will enable you to achieve what you want, it will take some experimenting as this is an unusual request, however I will give it my best shot.

Hello urquina

Check your mail box where you will find some ColorMaps which may be of some help to you.

The mail comes from midnightsurf and not SoundSpectrum.
