Aeon 3.91 on iTunes

Post by Nacho »

Hello,

I installed Aeon 3.91 and it doesn't work on iTunes x64 v12.6.2.20 running on Windows 10 x64.

I can not choose to install the x32 version for iTunes (which I think will solve the problem), the installer program do not allow me to do that.

For instance, the version of Standalone x64 doesn't work but the x32 version does.

Could anybody help me?

Thank you,

Nacho

More iTunes 3rd Party Plugin Issues

Post by b.dwall »

Please be advised that the latest iTunes version (12.6.2.20) will temporarily break your iTunes media player visuals. We were recently contacted by Apple on this, and are working on a fix.

For those that have not yet installed the newest version of iTunes, we suggest holding off for the time being, if you can. Sorry for any inconvenience. The Standalone Application and ScreenSaver are unaffected.

Here are the options to restore visuals:
- Revert to iTunes 12.5 (requires terminal, but internet guides are available)
- Start using SoundSpectrum’s Standalone application and/or replace iTunes with a different media player (we support an assortment of players)
- Wait for us to release a fix (coming soon)

This is a new issue that is even affecting those running macOS Sierra. Apple is continuing to try to lock down iTunes, we are told for security reasons. We will be updating Gold iTunes users to Platinum if you write in to our support channels.

To all those affected by iTunes not allowing any 3rd party plugins (e.g SS visualizers):

Apple has now released iTunes version 12.7.1.14 which is now available.

This resolves (and restores) all plugins if they have not been removed manually or by a clean install. If they're still not shown in the Visualisers menu, a re-install with your license key may be required....

The only remaining issue is a full-screen / minimize shortcut [ ] glitch,
in the meantime using the ESC button or CTRL+F may help you around this until SS can asses the damage and implement a FIX for this abnormal full-screen behaviour.

Hope this helps, ;)
