Screen black in WMP 12 when I go full screen
Running latest version of G-force (394) on Windows 7 32 bit.
When I am running G-force and double click to go full screen in WMP12 the screen goes black. If I double click again the patterns are visible.
AMD 780G chipset with 3200 onboard graphics

Hi Phil,
I am not sure whether you have got the solution to your query or not as it's been a long time you have posted your query.
Besides I can't recall it properly but somebody had the same query. I could not remember on which site I have read it. Besides till I remember somebody had also provided an absolute answer to the query.
I request you to give me few days time, hardly 3 or 4, and I will be back with the suitable suggestion. I hope you don't mind bearing for few days.
Cheers.

I am having a similar problem except for the fact that I am running 64 bit windows 7 ultimate. when i double click to go to full screen, i get just a black screen with just the buttons at the bottom and the little scroll thingy still scrolls, but no visuals. when i double click the screen to take it back to full screen with the playlist on the left, wmp crashes. Everything worked fine when i had windows vista ultimate 64 bit and i was wondering if anyone had found answers to this issue.

G-force get off your ass and fix this!! or give me my money back
this is not a cheap program (I had to pay for it twice) the support sux and updates are rare
ohh well guess thats the way it is
(yes I speak my mind freely)
just because you havent got your fix yet doesnt mean they arent working on it.
Surely SS is aware the forum is full of upset member posts
It would be great if Sound Spectrum implement a regular schedule of new version releases.juxtiphi wrote:nutz wrote:same here, kinda sux

At least SS Support or Andy could post more REGULAR updates here in the Support Forum too instead of vague replies months apart, at least a monthly post about upcoming release updates and more.
Ive been a member for over 7 years now, one thing i can say is that Sound Spectrum "used to - pre 2009" update software version for G-force and Whitecap multiple times per year, even beta testing was more often, almost monthly in some years (over 10 updates to each visualizer in previous years b4 2009 )and since then this has dwindled down to one, two or three updates and new versions per year, see the version histories for each product, there's no hiding it!

Even i know the Frequency of updates is much SLOWER than any of the last five years before 2009, new features and configs, work arounds and compatability for Windows 7 and 64 Bit have been in the planning, but haven't come to fruition even almost 6 months after windows 7 was first released, god help us all if there is one!
Besides, how many other businesses do you know of that can succeed by posting rare member updates and news updates on the main page (even showing us Gifts are available to use for the Holidays - what Holidays??)

The double-click to black screen issue present in WMP 12 on Win 7 has been addressed (so all subsequent product releases will contain the fix). The workaround in the mean time is to use WMP to toggle fullscreen rather than use a double click.
This issue was caused by a change in behavior in WMP under Windows 7, which has forced us make a workaround for WMP issues outside our control.
Many thanks for your patience on this.
