I recently purchased an HP Pavilion s3430i, which has Vista Home Premium 64-bit edition installed. I downloaded the platinum version 3.8.3 of G-Force and installed it. It works fine in Windows Media Player 11. However, it does not appear in the list of visualizations available in Media Center. (I thought Media Center just acted as a shell for WMP, but maybe not.)
Last March, I built up a machine and installed the then current version of G-Force (that machine is disconnected at the moment, so I can't verify what version that was). That machine used the 32-bit version of Vista. When I installed G-Force, it appeared in both WMP and Media Center. I don't remember having to do anything special for it to be available in Media Center.
Is there something special about the 64-bit edition of Vista, or do I need to do something special to get G-Force to appear as a Media Center visualization? Or is this a known (or unknown) problem???
