whitecap in action

Post by juxtiphi »

here are a couple of screen shots showing my media player and whitecap

I like It!!

to bad I cant hide the border completely as a little of the window can still be seen, maybe a hide the border function would be usfull in situations such as this.

I don't understand why you'd want to see the "speakers" and other pseudo controls. I'm more partial to the full screen totally engulfing effect.

It tends to give it the "futuristic" effect. I like Full screen best too, but it's hard to choose the songs in full screen.

I have it sized so the bottom of the window is even with the top of the player itself.

showing the speakers and setting a transparency gives it a 3 dimensional feel. as the vis interpolates the the speakers only its like whitecap is in front of and behind the player all at the same time.

this is why winamp offers transparency
