Hi Folks
I'm a complete noob when it comes to this.
I have downloaded some of the scripts, and have extracted them to the scripts folder. Now I have several folders off scripts containing flowfield folders and colourmap folders - it's making me dizzy.
My question is this - do all the newly downloaded flowfield files, script files etc need to be moved into the gforce\scripts and gforce\flowfield folders or should I leave them where they are?
Also, I use iTunes for Windows and when I press CTRL+n the visualizer stops and returns to the iTunes window. So, as I cannot 'invoke' a script, can I make GForce use them in no partiocular sequence?? Is there a way I see the effects of these scripts???
Thanking you in advance...

It's simpler than you make it sound. When the G-force application starts, it looks in the same folder as itself for folders with names "ColorMaps", "FlowFields", "WaveShapes", "Sprites" and "Scripts". It then loads their contents into an internal buffer, ignoring subfolders. If you notice, the config folders have some subfolders by author, but G-force ignores that. If you don't want G-force to use some configs, just move them to a folder with another name like "yuckyColors". I haven't tried to confuse it, but it probably just refuses to run a flowfield as a colormap because the syntax is different. So just drop your scripts in the "Scripts" folder and make sure any configs you call are in the right place, and it should work.
In future i can see all these things being easier but as of now the only real way to see the scripts, would be to remove all the current scripts, waves and flows to another directory, then put your new ones were the old ones were origionally. you could even copy them over one at a time, although remmeber that you'll need one of each kind to get an output.
I'll come to bed once i've seen everything in G-Force.
