Border in Full Screen Mode

Post by DeanLewis »

Performed a search, but only found one message with a question similar to mine, and no answer had been provided in it. Checked the FAQ; will make one final look at setting available via the preference file after posting this. :)

I'm using G-Force Gold 2.8, iTunes 4.7.1, on a PowerMac G4 (1GHz upgrade) with a 64MB ATI video card. In order to get framerates in the 15-25 range, I set the visualizer size to medium and go full screen at 1280x1024 resolution, 32-bit (so I can get the album covers).

However, Medium size means there is a border around the G-Force animations. In the non-gold version this border was black. However, after upgrading, the border began to cycle colors along with the animation. Unlike the other person who posted about this, I would rather the border be black.

How do I turn off the border color cycling? Or is that even possible?

EDIT: Now I have a black border, but not sure what I changed. I noticed my 32-bit settings didn't seem to take because album covers weren't colored properly, so I quit and restarted iTunes. After that, the border does not cycle colors.

So, any thoughts on what setting (bit depth? height & width, etc.) affects the border colors when viewing at medium or small size on full screen would be much appreciated. :)
