screen saver does not play same theme that plays with music?

whenever the screen saver kicks in, it does not play the custom theme that i created which plays when playing music.

is there something i need to do? been sifting through related messages here but can't quite pin down if this is a current feature or problem.

I think, (icbw) that if you copy the info from the prefs file that runs with whatever player you use and replace the info in the screen savers prefs file but dont remove anything that says screensaver and you might be good.

I would back up both prefs files before trying this. I do know that it was mentioned here before that you can get the screensaver to react to music but that was months ago.
