Download trouble

Post by TomatoMan »

I just got a new macbook pro, and want to move my install of GeForce Platinum from my old machine, which I'm retiring, to the new one.

I went to the download area to download a clean copy so I could install it properly, and signed in with my username / key, and it said my key had expired and I would have to pay for another upgrade.

I do not want to upgrade or pay again for the software I've already paid for, I just want to move my licensed install from an old machine to a new machine.

How do I re-download the version I paid for? If this is not possible / allowed (which would be EXTREMELY unfortunate if true), how do I move the software from my old machine to my new machine?

(I sent this query to support via the website several days ago and got no response.)

Thanks.

Sorry for the delay--somehow your e-mail must have been missed, although that's extremely rare. You must have bought using a different e-mail address than on here, so we're not sure what that address is. Please e-mail support again and someone will get back to you right away. Thanks.

Thanks, just sent the message, to "support" this time rather than "sales".

I dont know what version you have but you should upgrade , there have been many improvments.

as far as using your old version on your new comp, just copy the old exe from where it is to a disc and transfer that to your new comp and it should work just the same as it did before.
