Blank screen in iTunes 4.6 (Mac)

Post by emeidi »

Hi

Although the plugin is being listed in the 'Visualizer' menu, nothing happens when I switch to it and Turn Visualizer On. :-( There's just this ugly black screen ... key-strokes like H don't work either.

Using the standalone version everything seems to work.

Anyone?

Thanks for your replies
Kind regards
Mario

I am experiencing the same thing with 2.6.6 Gold except I get no response at all-- no black screen, nothing.

I'm using iTunes 4.5.

All is as it should be according to the installation instructions.

I'm on 4.6 and I'm okay with the Gold version. Hmmm... :?:

EDIT: Could it be an Installer vs No Installer issue? IOW, which kind did you download, the one with the installer or the one w/o?

Hi, Mario - I was just browsing this site and through the forum and I saw how incredibly cruel some of the users were to you when this is supposed to be a place that is safe and helpful. I even registered specifically to write you this message. It's sad how much the internet helps but it seems that lately the cowards of the world are using it as a mask behind which they can hide in anonymity and dump their own anger issues, inferiorities and odisplay their obvious inadequacies - placing blame on others for what they don't know (why are we here?) and ridiculing people, God forbid, for asking...it's beyond deplorable. These are the 'people' who have nothing else to do but sit around and look for targets and write spyware, viruses, etc. to destroy others' PCs, placing snags in the otherwise lovely lives of others simply to make themselves feel superior and others as miserable as they are. On behalf of humanity, (I am sure they'll think it is OK!) I apologize for the dregs of the human race who have yet to be disposed of by evolution.
Take care and good luck!
Sincerely,
Leslie
