32 bit mode for Snow Leopard

Post by mikeeb »

To atomicskunk:

I only used the hot corner to launch G-Force AS A SCREENSAVER, since it actually will now APPEAR to load with other newer, workable screen savers.

The hot corner DOES work with a screen saver that somehow conforms to Apple's 32-bit-mode. G Force does not yet conform as yet. It is strange that you can see G force in X-back and also see it work when doing a preview in the System Prefs dialog box for screensavers.

As I say, Andy, we must be very close to getting it to work.

Still not a final solution?

Any progress on finding a final solution for this?

I am curious also. I've used G-Force for a couple of years on my PC, but I'm getting ready to use a Mac Mini as my media player and want to use G-Force.

whitecap screensaver

Does this mean Whitecap will work if you select the 32-bit in system preferences info? Is this only relevant to g-force?

If you put the G-Force application in the trash an empty it and then re-install G-Force, as long as you licence is current it should work work. \:D/
