Version 357 broke G-Force on my G5 Mac

Post by raka »

i had your trial version & tried it on my system (G5 Mac with iTunes) and it worked perfectly with my 1920 x 1200 monitor, filling up the entire screen.

i received a message that a newer version is available, and downloaded it (357).

now G-Force is displayed in a narrow letterboxed strip across my widescreen monitor when i enter fullscreen mode (command F)

the M (resolution) and RET (fullscreen) commands have 0 effect. all my other iTunes visualizers still work perfectly (just like the old G-Force used to until i 'upgraded')

Q: How do i fix this (or how do i go back to the older version that worked?)

thks!

The default letter box effect was added for performance reasons. See http://www.soundspectrum.com/g-force/Do ... html#bands

i've never had G-Force performance problems w/ my Dual Mac G5, even at 1920x1200

- how do i change this default to get fullscreen 1920x1200 again (the "M" resolution settings have no effect)

- if i can't change it, how can i go back to the previous version of G-Force i had that worked perfectly?

thks

Please e-mail support as these forums are not monitored on a regular basis by SoundSpectrum. Meanwhile, see if Standalone works with various fullscreen resolutions (ie. going out of fullscreen, pressing 'm' and going back into fullscreen should have an effect).
