G-Force Holiday Theme

Post by DoctorOctane »

Is there a Christmas or Holiday oriented theme out there? It could even be done with a subset of the regular themes. Restrict colors...get rid of the spaceier settings...etc...

I'd like to run it on my HTPC since I don't have a fireplace.

Wait a minute...As I sit here typing this, I have it running in the background along with my Christmas playlist.....It already looks kind of xmas-ish. Reds, greens, golds, etc.

DOES GFORCE PICK COLORS BASED ON THE ID3 Tag info or the date ?!?!?!

Oh wait, it just morphed into some kind of space-alien brain pattern.

Please Advise. I'll send a pie to anybody who can crank out a theme before Xmas eve.

Try whitecap

There is a whitecap holiday theme from SoundSpectrum. It creates xmas themed images—stars, xmas tree, candycane.

Right, I saw that. Thing is, Geforce is much better IMHO.

Just read up on color maps, and am fighting throught the examples.

Could somebody provide an example that cycles through narrow ranges of red, green, and black?

the first time I ever used GF I was listening to pink floyd and I'll be damned if the triangle and the jpg of the moon didnt come right up .

I often get the feeling that GF somehow Knows what you're playing. like its has some kind of intuition .

Do you know where it is? I searched through the download section and can't find it.

Thanks...

I sat up this weekend and created about 30 holiday-oriented color maps and a profile using the current version of Gforce.

How do I upload an attachment?

1. Randy-
It hasn't been available with the current DL's of G-Force. I'm usre that if you drop an e-mail to Andy or Key they'll be happy to help you get one.

2. Doc-
If you zip it, I think all you hafta do is jot down the name of the file (with, of course, the .zip tag at the end) and it should be automatically hyperlinked.

I don't have an ftp server to host the file. I just want to embed the .zip in the message itself.

Oh....

I meant to say that all you'd need to do is jot down the .zip's URL in your next post here and it should be automatically hyperlinked to the file.
