Controlling Toolbar via midi and sharing project files

Post by chris_dan »

Hi all,

Haven't had time to RTFM yet....sorry...guick question though....

Can the above subject matter be accomplished with GFP?

Regarding the vis_resp_slider control in Toolbar, I don't know if it's some type of latency issue but it feels like around a 200-300ms delay, more pronounced when increasing the Hz. Is that normal and/or is that related to display complexity? I guess I should just try it....running on hp_pav_P630HT_1Gmem_7200rpm_intel_915....should be ok? If you are designing something for public dist...lowest common denominator as far as end user pc power level? I recently upgraded my laptop to one of them there new and improved flame retardant dell i6400_intel_T2400...amazing punch for a low-mid priced slab....speaking of slabs i looked at the new iMacs or whatever they're called...the guts of their highest low end machine is identical for the most part to my laptop...gee i are smart...i'm not kocking either (amiga workbench rules) but why mac chose to prostitute there once uniq offering? Even their top end line wreaks of blue or is it the time lock i'm in? Sorry for babbling....

If anyone has any input they care to share regarding my actual questions I'd greatly appreciate it.

Toolbar parameters controlled via midi has gotta be there...it's so obvious....and what of these mystical script generators you speak of....are they from another planet?

Regards
Chris
