I had a somewhat busy G-Force 4th of July weekend. A new wave, a couple colors, flows and unions. And a new style of scripts. I was getting into a flow of mine with a simple offset but different in each quadrant. So I expanded on the idea with some unions to have 4 different flows going. And did a similar thing in R and Thetaland.
And finally did something about not being able to bring up waves as particles. I just copied all the waves and changed the meta rating so that they could in fact be called as particles. I haven't fully explored that realm yet but I'll have additional updates as time permits.
I overwrote one flowfield (see pic) but manage to recreate it, unlike one a couple weeks ago. In Search of the Lost Config. Anyway, new type of scripts and updates of the others as well.
If you're interested please get the latest at my website.
Well, if everything is working okay, Startup should start Logo which will run CTRL 0 (zero) thru CTRL Z. However, you can hit Shift-K to end the scripts and then, yes, any keyboard control combination. I found that Standalone on a PC will use CTRL (space) and others like CTRL (down arrow) which will run CTRL (right parenthesis).
What I posted last week was somewhat half-baked. But I've been cooking this weekend and am happy with the results. If you already downloaded, please do so again.
Also, where exactly do these go? The scripts I assume replace whatever scripts we might have in our Scripts folder. But what about the rndColors items? Are they scripts for controlling colormap changes, which then run inside of the quadrant scripts?
Quadrants2 would replace the original Quadrant files. Download both, unzip one and watch, then unzip the other and watch.
Yes, unzip to the scripts folder with "Use pathname" or whatever it's called turned OFF. The rndcolor scripts are called from the main scripts. They are one minute scripts with colors other than just mine. Why, I don't know.
Yeah, WinZip says "Use folder names". On my page you would unzip the configs to C:\ and WinZip would take care of the \G-Force\FlowFields etc. Not setup for the Mac tho. But the scripts have to be unzipped to \scripts coz I create them in different folders, Extras_Scripts001 etc.
Did you get them to work? What do you think of them?
Unless I did something wrong, startup should run Logo, which I altered to start CRTL 0 and after two hours CTRL 1 etc.
But you can hit Shift-K to kill the scripts and then, yes, use the keyboard to start any of the scripts. Try CTRL-DownArrow etc. as those keys will start CTRL ) (Left paren) etc.
