G-Force V-Bar stays black

Post by Mainly »

Anyone have any suggestions for using V-Bar.
When I bring it up it appears as a black bar without visuals. I can control it with the V-Bar settings panel, but G-Force does not run in the designated banded area. It stays blacked out.

First off, be sure you're using using latest version (3.5.2?). Next, please include your OS version, your CPU, and graphics hardware.

thanks,

Andy,
I have a powerbookG4 (PowerPC G4). OS is 10.3.9 with Radeon graphics card, and I recently downloaded the bata version of 3.5.2RC3. Both G-Force and G-Force V-Bar show up as 1.2.2(v802).

The engine version (3.5.2), the V-Bar, and the Toolbar are all on different version numbers (the build number is for internal you--think of that as the rev number of the entire SoundSpectrum codebase).

If you do a get info on G-Force.bundle in Mac OS, you'll see its 3.5.2 (and you'll also see this in the splash text).
