Still Trying to figure way to immerse self in G-Force?help??
Hello all,
I've posted before asking if there was anyway I could use goggles or something like that to REALLY SEE G-FORCE in total immersion....but I was asking if a device was made that would allow me to see visuals with eyes closed also, like those mind strobe type machines---but without the strobe effect. I've given up on that since you need flashing strobes to penetrate the eyelids.
BUT....I'd still VERY MUCH LOVE to be able to strap on total immersion type glasses/goggles, whatever--to not only see G-Force visuals and still control with the toolbar but also to continue listening to my meditation music. It would be wonderful to immerse myself in G-force land with relaxation/meditation tunes and not have to get up to change controls on computer across the room. Everywhere I look I find things that sound spectacular but they're all geared for people wanting 3-D gaming experience or 3-D TV viewing.
I'm very much a novice in the computer world so I can't tell if I can use some of those things or not??? Since I don't need an actual computer monitor on my head...I'm hoping to find something less than the $500.00 to $1,000---PLUS! I know I can hook my Windows Media Player up to my TV if need be. If ANY OF YOU TECH GENIUSES out there (and I say that in all seriousness!! You guys blow me away with the forum conversations and are way over my head with stuff. I'm impressed but it has the unfortunate effect of making me feel really dumb with questions I want to ask...hence it taking me this long to ask this question!!) But....my burning desire to find a device like described above finally got bigger than my insecurities --- so I just "got over my darn self" LOL
I can't even put into words (because there ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE my experiences in staring at G-Force visuals while meditating!) It's an "ineffable experience." When I finally get my mind chatter quieted down and become "still"-the combination of the visuals (I've fine tuned with the toolbar to the exact rhythm and frequency I need for that session), and sound--- literally transports me to states rarely experienced. And I usually always come away with the most incredible INSIGHTS into issues in my life and "Life" in general. It doesn't cause me to have spiritual experiences -- it increases the probability of their frequency i.e. I'm guaranteed to have more of those peak states with G-Force than without it. Which is why I'm so determined to find a way to experience it fully with no distractions.
Well, I could keep going and going here- I'd make a great commercial for your product, as would just about everyone here on the forum!!!! PLEASE keep going with G-Force, expanding ways to use it, etc. I believe you've really got a goldmine here that's ahead of it's time. I actually worry that one day it'll be gone or I can't use it because it's so expensive. I haven't found ANY other visual downloads to compare to this.
Someone here pointed me to a site (way back when I was asking about seeing it with eyes closed, months ago) selling "iGlasses" and it looked very cool but too expensive for me and like I said, I really don't need all those extra things....all I need is to hear my music and see G-Force visuals while controlling things like volume, etc. and be able to customize it with the toolbar. Anybody out there doing anything like that? Or know how it can be done?
Thanks,
Candence

Turn on some soothing trance, watch GF for a bit, and fall asleep. The music will keep you just enough awake to become lucid and dream about the music. You will dream about the effects because you have just been watching what the music means through GF, and most trance has no words to make a visual story or situation. I did this on a plane once and almost couln't take sitting in the seat. I wanted to break out some glowsticks right there so bad you just dont know.

Thanks for response! Re: Hambone---"LSD" yes! Oh how I've wanted to experience that but in an environment where if I got too freaked out someone would be there with an antidote to bring me down
I had a professor in college who was very serious about LSD therapy and last I heard he was involved in something with clinical trials somewhere in San Francisco. I really wish certain "drugs" didn't have such a stigma because I really believe under the right circumstances, certain types of hallucinogens can and have had some remarkable effects on some mental illnesses, even alcoholism. But that's all another story for another forum.....
In the meantime, I find meditation can get you to those "Healthy" LSD type effects but it does take a very long time. However, Re: Wolf's reply, he (or she) is absolutely right about using the trance music (although when I use the term "trance music" I'm talking about very very mellow meditation type music, not the fast trance type music you hear at raves and such)---and watching the G-Force till you fall into a semi-trance hypnotic state and the visuals just kinda keep going in your head. I've had THE MOST INCREDIBLE VIVID DREAM STATES the last few months using the music and G-Force in just this way! I wake up and literally can't write the dreams down fast enough! And I mean waking up feeling like it was NO MERE DREAM...that It REALLY HAPPENED. And, like I said in my post, I'm also having a significant increase in "sudden insights, revelations, etc." into various issues in my life. I've always had these throughout my life, a lot of precognitive type stuff too but NEVER with the increased frequency that I'm having now since I've begun using G-Force seriously in combination with my ongoing meditation practice!
That,-- combined with the latest book I'm reading "The Eagle's Quest" by Dr. Fred Alan Wolf--a quantum physicist I discovered when watching that FANTASTIC movie: "What the bleep do we know?" If any of you here haven't heard of the movie, it's pretty much a "grass-roots word of mouth" following.....YOU MUST, I REPEAT MUST GO OUT AND RENT OR BUY THE DVD!!!! It's all about the new quantum physics and what consciousness and the "observer effect" really mean for us.
Dr. Fred Alan Wolf was the funniest and so super intelligent scientist they interviewed (along with other very respectable scientists all over the world), that I just had to go buy a couple of his books. And believe me, the combination of reading this mind blowing reality of quantum physics and really thinking about what it means combined with my trance music and staring at G-Force with all these ideas spinning in my head....well, let's just say WOW! Maybe not as quick as LSD but the glow sticks are a waving, LOL. I don't mean to support the use of LSD here, as therapeutic as it can be for some it can be equally dangerous for others. My husband's brother, who was an incredibly intelligent and funny guy, actually tipped over into psychosis from LSD, and never recovered. That was in the 70's and today he's a diagnosed schizophrenic who's lived his whole life in institutions or on the street.
Just had to add that because I know I came across as like...rah rah LSD, ya know. But that's a reason I'm personally scared of it, not knowing what's in it blah blah blah. Shoot, I've even freaked out on pot! LOL But I always wished I could handle those states of consciousness because I believe much is to be gained from delving into the unconscious mind. ---
And that's what that book "The Eagle's Gift" and the movie "What the bleep do we know", is all about. And people may not talk about it much on this site BUT...I think many of us know exactly what the G-Force is stimulating in our minds, hearts, and spirit, and that's why we love it SO MUCH!
Anything to further my spiritual development....and get me closer to God, as I understand it, is worth every bit of pursuing. And like "Wolf" talked about with the Lucid dreaming.....yes, yes, and double YES. Which is why I'd really, REALLY like to strap on some goggles with controls right at my hands to just journey away or as they say in the movie I mentioned...."the only question is, how far down the rabbit hole DO YOU want to go?
Thanks again for the responses,
Candence

within announced budget...
Hi there,
I saw a couple of tests of 3D googles- like, or screen glasses, stuff like that
result was always the same: low resolution and high headache!
two reasons for that: screens have to be quite small, and lenses have to create a virtual image further from your eyes than the screen really is otherwise you can't see anything
so it's relatively heavy, fragile, and focusing on it is really tireing for the eyes and brain
I wouldn't advise that for relaxation at all!
I read about laser solutions that would shoot directly the retina, but those were prototypes only and your eye had to be still....
So sorry but I guess there is no answer to your desire!
