config groups

Post by Linvincible »

Hi guys,

what would you think of the possibility of creating groups for the configs ?
so that you can create different groups of flowfields, waveshapes, colormaps that GF will cycle in
especially for colormaps in fact, on some occasions you want a bright background or a dark one so...

where is the suggestions section again?

I'm not quite sure why you'd want to do that, especialy since :

1. the toolbar allows you to customize your display (at least in a simplistic way)

and

2. you can write up a virtually unlimited number of scripts that commands G-Force to use specific maps, fields, waves, etc. according to your tastes (i.e. do you wanna stick with dark colormaps or pastel? Do you want busy fileds or more serene kinds?).

'Kay....

Now for a stupid question on my part:

I thought the Themes folder was where you could place extra skins for the G-Force toolbar.

Evidently I'm misunderstanding something?

I'd try the "Skins" folder.
