Try searching for "Prefrences (Screen Saver).txt", then changing wRgt to the width you want and wBot to the height you want (but don't exceed the dimensions of your screen).
Remember to make a backup in case it dosen't work.
You don't hafta back up your Prefs file. You can simply trash it and when GF starts again, it'll simply re-create the Prefs according to the default settings.
Just to be clear, I copied the text in the post above and pasted the Finder search box (which found nothing) but I did eventually find the Preferences (Screen Saver).txt file and edited that. But like I said, there are no wRgt or wBot parameters and creating them didn't make any difference.

No go.... Mac OS X screensavers use the current display device resolution (to prevent annoying resolution switches when you want to quickly wake it up). The Mac OS X screen saver class framework does not allow you change resolution modes. Sure, perhaps something can be hacked together, but that practice tends to be a black hole of time, effort, and pain b/c of how everything breaks every OS release when you do something not offically Apple-supported.
