There is a way to set your screensaver to do the mic (or whatever audio input you like)... Start the standalone, press SHIFT A to get it to the audio input that you like, and then exit the standalone. Next, open up the standalone prefs and make a mental note the value of 'A_in' (search for the file "Preferences (Standalone).txt"). Then open your G-Force screen saver prefs (right next to you standalone prefs file), and edit A_in to the value that you saw in your standalone prefs. Save your changes, and when the screensaver starts up next time, it will use the audio input that you set.
Note that if you have multiple monitors, you may see a message saying an error occurred opening the requested audio device. This is because the second instance of the screen saver (remember, one for each display device) is trying to open an audio port this is already open.
Trick: Setting the screensaver's audio input

Bug Maybe??
Andy;
I made sure that the preferred audio device matched in both sides of GF, yet the saver tells me there's an error (I use the internal mic pref: A_In=3).
Strangely enough, though, the Saver preview shows my selection working just fine, i.e. it responds to ambient noise.
PS: This is for one computer.
