GF 3.0 Configs limited?

Post by willrob »

I noticed that the number of flow fields, wave shapes, and color maps bundled with the Mac version of G-Force 3 are significantly less than the previous version. Is there a reason for this? Should I not move my old configs into the appropriate folders to add them? It seems to be working fine when I do this, but I just wondered if perhaps the included configs were "updated" in some way for 3.0.

None of the configs have been 'updated' for GF3 all your previous/additional ones should work fine.

Remember there are more configs available here:

This should not be the case... A couple configs parent folder was renamed in GF3, a couple configs were retired to the "extras" folders for various reasons. Other than that, and the new configs added with GF 3, you should see the same set of configs.

Thanks for the quick heads up. I guess I had forgotten how many "extras" I had already installed. They account for the larger number of items.
