GF Video

Here is a video I did a week or so ago with some other VJs using GForce.

Combining styles and effects.

Let me know what you think.

Hi Rovastar

I downloaded your .avi and although the music plays, the visualisation does not.

I am using Windows Media Player and I get an error message saying that a required codec is missing.

Can you tell me where I may download the codec from please?

Many thanks - and I am really looking forward to watching this...

It uses DIVX5 - thanks.

And it looks pretty cool - I really like the effects that start at about 1min 40secs. And.... I didn't know you could include an animated background!

Pretty good.

Are you going to do some more?

GForce itself cannot use animated backgrounds but with a couple more computers and video mixers it all becomes possible. :)

Any other thoughts people.

I checked this out when you emailed it to me last week... It's very cool! If I wasn't so knee deep in stuff-I-gotta-do, it'd be fun to chat more about it...

Well, now that I've watched it a coupla more times, I've a bit more to say about it. It is pretty cool, I like the music, and I like the video.

Although you offer a 60MBish download, would it be possible for you to compile a better quality video, say, up the bitrate a bit so it can be viewed at a larger resolution. I know this would mean a larger file, but G-Force has a lot of detail and it would be great to be able see more of what you have done with the program. Maybe you could offer two versions - large/small? I don't know how much web space/bandwidth you have, but I personally would love to be able to see the detail.

On the whole I think it is very good. I have always loved audio-visual. Have you ever seen Dance in Cyberspace by Dr. Devious (A cyberdelic experience). This uses fractal imagery to good effect. You could do a better job using G-Force...

Thanks again for sharing your work with us!
