G Force as screen saver?
Is there anyway to put the Gforce stand alone as a screen saver?

The beta version does have a screensaver.

In that case, my bad. I thought it was only in the beta version, which I have. 
I don't think so. I'm running 2.8.1 Gold and there's no mention in the help of a screensaver option, nor does one show up in the screensaver list. The FAQ still gives the answer that it's not possible but maybe in the future.Rovastar wrote:I thought the Gold version now came as a screensaver.
I'm disappointed to say the least. I bought G-Force on an express promise that the screensaver option was "coming soon". So I'm half way through my 1 year period of free upgrades and it's still not around six months after that promise.
I expect they're only going to add it for 3.0 which I assume I won't qualify for a free copy of that with it being a major release.
Now where are those sad smileys....

Sorry I guess it is not in GF2.X yet.
To pruchase any software on the basis that a minor fixture may be added in the future is just silly.
If you use Winamp with GF then use the WPSS (Winamp Plugin Screen-Saver)

The screensaver functionality is the most important feature for me. I *never ever* have g-force running when I'm listening to music via itunes. If I'm listening to music on my PC it's because I'm sat at it working, so having the screen taken over by something even as cool as G-Force isn't helping me.
When I first saw G-Force (when I stumbled across it in iTunes) I thought I'd buy it if I could use it as a screensaver, and for ONLY that reason. When they said go ahead and buy it - we're implementing the screensaver very soon and you get free upgrades for a year I thought why not. Now it's 6 months later...
