Hello. I've filed a couple tickets with support/sales because I'm getting the 'too many installs' error when I install G-Force.
Yes, G-Force works on Mountain Lion, but no, the install(s) from Lion do not 'survive' either upgrade or migration. And, the screensaver has to be moved from ~/Library/Screen Savers to /Library/Screensavers/ ... once there has been a SUCCESSFUL install. Which I now cannot do.
Anyone? Bueller? The tickets were bundled together but things have been in review for more than 48 hours.
Please advise?
-Leo
How long does it take to 'reset license number'.

Official Statement From SoundSpectrum
CONTACT AND SUPPORT
Our contact page and ticket system have been targeted by a spammer over the last couple of weeks and we have been flooded with spam tickets, hundreds a day. This has made it very difficult to parse through and find and respond to actual customer tickets, though we're doing our best to rectify the situation. If people are complaining in the forums about a lack of response from us I would really appreciate if you could pass this information on. To be clear, we are only being drowned in fake support tickets (much like how a denial of service attack works). No personal customer information has been accessed, no security has been breached.
UPDATES
We should have new beta releases available within the next few weeks for all of our titles.

Thank you BTT.. it took a couple extra days, but yes, the SoundSpectrum folks reset the licensing on their side, and after that the install went off as usual.
To anyone else stuck with 'Too many installs': The SS folks have to reset your license from their side, once done G-Force will 'just install & work.' Obviously it's taking longer than the 24-48 hours on the website... so.. my only humble suggestion is to maybe put a notice there to set expectations accordingly.
