Can't Install newly purchased G-F onto my Tosh. Sat. A505!

Post by Suicide Bomber Barbie »

64-bit operating system, Windows 7 Home Premium, 4 GB, Intel Core i3 CPU, M 330 @2.12 GHz.

Download keeps getting interrupted at 98/99%. Eventually a window opens indicating that the software attempting install is not compatible with my operating system (indicates that it might be at 32/64-bit problem) :x .

I'm confused

not sure what you are trying to do,

did you save the exe to your computer first and then cannot install ?

or

are you running the exe without saving to your comp.

I would save the exe to your computer first then try and install.

G-force is compatible with windows 7, its running on my windows 7 computer.

I'm confused. I don't know if I was able to get to that point where I make that choice. I think eventually instead of the download being interrupted at 99% the window pops up stating what I indicated before. I'll try again to confirm. But I read the directions. I was never given a chance to make the choice to "save". Besides, the trial version downloaded and installed glitch-free about a year ago and has run without a single problem since! Whattup with that!

Also, please guide me on this forum thing. I was a little unsure of the right way to quote YOUR text and post my reply so you could clearly see I was responding to you . . .

BTW, thanks

in order to quote another post , hit the quote button in the post you want to quote and it will open a responce window.

I went to the download page and G-force downloaded fine.

It sounds to me like you are trying to run the application at the same time its being downloaded.

when downloading exe files you should use the save or "save as" option. this way you know its finished and is ready for opening.

try downloading, then go to your downloads folder and run from there.

Alright I'm remembering as I type this and download in the background. The download (to be saved to desktop) keeps getting "interrupted somewhere between 92 and 99% and I keep hitting resume. Eventually I will get the window I've already described. I'm going straight from trial version to Platinum - is that an issue? :?

Hello Suicide Bomber Barbie

I would advise you to uninstall all versions of G-Force you have on your computer, re-start your computer then click on the link below.

http://www.soundspectrum.com/g-force/pu ... tinum.html

Click on 'Already purchased G-Force? Download or update it here.'

When you purchased G-Force Platinum you would have received a licence code from SoundSpectrum. Enter the licence code when requested and CLICK SAVE, DO NOT CLICK RUN.

When the download has completed click on the file and follow the simple instructions.

If you still have the incomplete download issue then it could be a corrupt download file, although this would be unusual. You would then need to contact SoundSpectrum direct and report this problem.
