Wont stay in full screen on 2nd monitor?

Post by m3sSh3aD »

Hi all,

New to here so go easy. Stumbled across G-Force and Whitecap and am a avid user of milkdrop but im having problems with full screening on my projector. It works fine in 1080p but whenever i do anything on my computer (i.e, want to play with the visuals realtime) it shrinks the screen and no more full screen goodies :(

Is there a way of solving this?

Thanks in advance

I think GF reverts to windowed mode when the refresh rate doesnt match the fullscreen setting. try increasing the refresh rate and see if that helps.

60 hz is a bit slow for a visualizer and it can cause eye strain.

imho your screen reefresh rate should be atleast 85 to 100. if you ca get your screen to produce 100hz then you should be good for fullscreen

Using a Mitsubishi HC4900 LCD Projector. Although its 1080p it only does up to 60Hz as its LCD. Doesn't 60Hz give it 60FPS though? The human eye only detects 40FPS so 60FPS is more than enough to create smoothness?

I found i can control some things with the keys on the keyboard which is handy. But i would like to be able do more things and use my controller's instead of my keyboard :( This was a problem with milkdrop. Still love that program :)
