Newbie with dual monitor questions

Post by RickSRQ »

I just purchased G-Force and White Cap, platinum versions both. Maybe I am missing something or maybe I am trying to do something that is not supported.

Using either through winamp, is there a setting to direct the full screen mode to play on either monitor 1 or 2, or do I have to physically drag the window to the monitor I want the full screen to display on and then enable full screen mode there?

Secondly, in full screen mode with winamp, I want the visualization to start and stop with the start and stop controls in winamp. In other words, if I stop or pause winamp, I would like the visualization to not just stop, but close all together. Then when using the play button on winamp, the visualization starts in full screen mode again. One click start and stop.

Hopefully I can do what I am wanting to do.

I apologize if I am asking about something that may be obvious to an experienced user.

TIA for any help.

you must drag the GF window to the screen you wish to view it on then set it to full screen, the next time you start GF it should be where you want it.

I recommend the stand alone for dual monitor use.

as for the other questions , i'm not sure but I dont think so

Well can I request that a start-stop with winamp controlled start-stop feature be added in your next update? Although I have no clue on how it's done, I know the code can't be that difficult because all kinds of winamp plugins work that way.

Thanks

you can request anything you like , as for me I am not affiliated with soundspectrum in any way I am just a moderator for the forum trying to help were I can.

most of those other programs you mention are made especialy for winamp by winamp developers thats why they have less bugs. GF is its own program and is very sophisticated in its workings. until winamp devs keeps GF in mind the next time they redesign it there will continue to be bugs and wanting
