Dual monitors- vis on one screen, controls on the other?

Is this possible (currently using WMP11 but could change)

If the title isnt clear I have one big monitor that I want to be able to be constantly showing the visualisations in it while having my full misuc selection in the other window so i can change songs around without disturbing the visualisations

I use to screens too


if you have the platinum version you can use the stand alone set to go fullscreen on your second monitor while using wmp11 on your primary

the plugin (gold version) for wmp11 wont do it because its window resides in the player it self unless its in full screen.

If you have the gold version and you are willing to change players you can upgrade to platinum which will install GF for multiple players or you can ask if you can change your license from wmp 11 to winamp .

winamps plugin window is seperate from the player so you can set it on your second screen

Hi I have this same problem. I also use wmp11 on my notebook running vista. I'd like to show gf on my other monitor via hdmi, and freely browse my wmp11 music library on my notebook display. I'm running gf platinum v374 and i can successfully enable fullscreen in gf standalone on the second monitor. The problem is that whenever i click anything on my notebook display, gf minimises and also i cannot seem to set the audio input source to wmp. Any help please?

yes there seems to be an issue with minimization. I have emailed andy about this but have not heard back yet

I too had the same problem (with Platinum and Professional) 3.7.4 and 3.7.5. I was advised (and given a link to) version 3.7.3 and 3.7.2 which does not have this problem. I did a "support" ticket and quickly had the issue resolved.
