Genetic Algorithm for GForce

I have been mentioning this idea so far almost every year for the past probably 5 or more years. First with emails to Andy, then posts in this forum.

So here we go again.

Please somebody take this GForce to the next level by having a genetic algorithm run on a central server, that will serve configs to users, who can rate what they see. The ratings then should be sent back to the server, which would be using an evolutionary approach of a genetic algorithm to create new configs.

I work with Genetic Algorithms (GA), the optimization power they have is absolutely mindblowing. After all the result of who we are, humanity, animals the entire ecosystem is the result of a GA or evolution.

Imagine to unleash this power onto GForce, and having itself optimize through to the most kick ass mods.

Andy I know you have looked into that before. Maybe you or somebody create a simple quick and dirty Alpha versio prototype. I can guarantee you the results will be mindblowing.

Pack all the goodies of the Platinum version into the gold version. Make the platinum version this GA optimized server thing and sell yearly subscription to this GA - server for $30. Give everyone a free ride for 7 days, so they can see what they are missing. You would make a ton of money, and people would be overwhelmed with mindblowing visualizations.

The future of GForce can't be to add a task bar here, and an extra flow field there another goody there. Take it to the next level, and a GA would be the way to do this.

Please do it or at least invest a week to give it a try.

If not I'll be back again in a year - I am banking on the fact that sometime the tiny improvements here or there will be bore you to death.... and maybe give this a try.
