Hi.
Will this be the way: with new g-forceversion, go and buy a new pc;)
Installed the new version yesterday, now I can hardly open outlook mails or other stuff due to the cpu usage of the v-bar, which ranges from 75-85%.
Before it was around 50-60%
My PC (I know, not the fastest, but it should do):
PC Mainboard: MS-7025
MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum S.939
Nvidia N-Force3 Ultra ATX
Prozessor: Advanced Micro Devices
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+
Athlon 64 Processor 3000+
Venice (90 nm)
Memory Physical Total 2047 MB
Video Adapter RADEON 9250
Chipset RADEON 9250 AGP (0x5960)
New g-force v-bar CPU usage up to 85%
Well, none of the staff seems to care.
I went back to an older version, and the problems (opening outlook, mails, delete mails, open the explorer) are gone.
Therefore I will not invest more money into newer versions.
I know: I could buy a faster computer (mine is 3 years old 1.8ghz, 2GB ram, ATI radeon graphics with 128mb). Buy a new computer because it lags from a software?
No way.

Im useing the vbar right now I have adobe audition opened on the side outlook express is also open which is what notified me about this reply, I also have my creative media playing and my browser is open as I type this to you.
cpu usage is 17 %. I dont have a high end comp either but I did spend some money for a video card
the problem is not with GF its you computer update your video card or shut down other unnecessary processes now cpu usage 9%
if you really feel this is somthing with GF open a support ticket with soundspectrum support.

it has been stated here many times that the SS staff do not monitor this forum on a regular basis,

Hi.
Thx for the reply
I opened a ticket - so whoever wants to do something about it will do.
My standalone right now uses 27/30k, and cpu usage ranges between 30-83%.
Why kill other processes like antivir, firewall or browser for the use of ONE software? Like I said: no probs with the last g-force version.
Now: if the new version kills my pc, it can´t be the pc being the only "guilty" part. If a pc runs OK, and a new software causes problems, what do you do? You deinstall the new software.
And its ok if this forum is not supported by the staff, but what good is than a bug reporting forum for?
Mike

Mike I'm running the new version and I did not lie about the low cpu usage and it actually went down to 4% but rose back to 12/12% so I highly doubt this has anything to do with "the new version" I know switching back somehow fixed your problem but often times installing a new version of GF without uninstalling the old can make problems.
