WMP Fullscreen resolution

Post by Lavadude »

xp pro, sp2, wmp10, 2gb ram. Full screen mode dose not change . I go from 1280x1024x32 to 320x200x32 with no difference with tool bar, in full screen mode hitting m key the same . I start at 1280x1024 and it shows that in toolbar go full screen and hit m key to 320x200 no change but in toolbar it shows 320x200. Hope this helps. Lavadude.

This is a WMP API issue that I can't do anything about, unfortunately. WMP provides no way to change fullscreen resolution in their API, so the res setting in the toolbar goes unheard by WMP. So please address all fanmail to "Microsoft / One Microsoft Way / Redmond WA".

Yeah WMP API is not nice. WMP was never really designed for proper vis support. Never found them too helpful either tbh at fixing the problems.

I always use Winamp never had any problems with that.
