Full screen on OS-X10.5 standalone

Post by mixermandan »

I have platinum, OSX 10 Tiger edition,

my problem exists when running standalone. If I move it to my second monitor and full screen then the main monitor goes black. Since I run Virtual DJ and was hoping to use this as a beat matched visualization obviously having my main monitor black isn't the best! aside from using a second computer to run it is there any way I can keep the main monitor from blacking out while still running g-force standalone using the AUDIO LINE INPUT as a source.

Also as a side note wondering why if you select speaker output as your source it doesn't register anything at all?

this has to do with how your computer is set up.

in order for you to use GF on a second screen you need to configure your video card to use two separate screens instead of one large desktop.

and clone mode wont do it either.

as for the speaker output that has to do with your soundcard If GF does not hear anything when you select it then GF may not fully support your audio card.

look at the options in your volume control panel and see if that option isnt muted

Yeah... any idea on how to do the dual screen thing is OSX? Generally if I put something on my second monitor and hit full screen it doesn't affect my main in any way.

As for the audio thing I checked... my only option is ENABLE AUDIO OUTPUT which is checked, nothing plugged in and my internal lap top speakers are playing audio... had the same problem on my room mates windows pc
