Detailed Description of Bug
Often, when I do a screen capture, I get an image with horizontal lines through it. I have switched to using my own screen capture program, and it works fine (as well as allowing me more options, such as specifying where the image files will go). Also, the regular Windows screen capture function (using the Prnt Scrn key) works fine. The lines seem always to be the same color as the image background, and they are always (so far) one pixel wide. In at least one case, the part of the image below the line appeared to be shifted a pixel to the left or right (I don’t remember which). Sometimes there is only one such line, but sometimes there are more (four being the maximum I’m sure of having seen).
Description of How to Replicate Bug
Do a few screen captures (I just did six, and got four lines, one pixel apart, across the sixth one). The occurrence of these lines doesn’t seem to depend on how the screen capture is triggered (by clicking on the button on the G-Force ToolBar or by typing `, or by clicking the “Take Screen Shot” item from the right-click drop-down menu).
I hope this info is enough to help you fix the problem easily. I think the crucial piece of information is that Windows' own screen capture and my own home-made screen capture program both work without problems (I’ve captured several hundred images with my own program without one flaw in any of them). This suggests that you are doing something different in your own capture code. I’m more or less happy using my own screen capture program, but it would be nice to be able to use the program’s own screen shot function more reliably. (Generally, however, I’m very pleased with G-Force.)
