Toolbar Will Not Open On 3.7.2

Hi, The Toolbar on GF Platinum 3.7.2 will not open. All I get is "GF Toolbar Has Encountered A Problem And Needs To Close" message. The same thing happens with Real Player 11 BETA Build 6.0.14.544 (11 BETA is the only player that you can get now from the Real Player's web site , free or pay version) BCOOL

Version of OS: XP PRO MEDIA CENTER EDITION VERSION 2002
Version of G-Force: Platinum 3.7.2
Version of media player: WMP 10 Ver 10.00.00.4058
Graphics hardware info: ATI RADEON XPRESS 200

I'm having the same problem I think. When I try to install G-force 3.7.2 I get an error window with the following:
Error opening file for writing C/Program ndSpectrum/G-Force/G-Force Toolbar.exe .
I've downloaded 3.7.2 twice and sill does the same thing.

when you install GF its not a good idea to overwrite the old instalation

unistall GF and then try again

I'm not sure if woody and I have the same problem with the toolbar but to uninstall and install did not fix the the bug. Thanks for your time. BCOOL

I uninstalled G-Force and then reinstalled and I still have the same problem: The Toolbar does not come up. I reinstalled 3.7.1 and everything works fine.

Hey guys... Thanks for being patient on all these issues... It's been crazy-busy getting WhiteCap out the door, and now things are starting to return back to normal. Please try G-Force 3.7.3b1 and it should fix these problems. You can get access to the beta by starting at this page:

This sounds like a permissions problem. Do a fresh restart, and delete the following dir manually:

C:\Program Files\SoundSpectrum\G-Force

Once you delete that, then run the installer.
