bought whitecap platinum [standalone] earlier this year, but juts finally got time to use it.
i have a couple of questions i'm hoping someone can help with.
1] is it possible to set all visualizations to "random"? so that everytime it's on i'll see a different waveform/shapes/patterns at (say) 15-20 second intervals?
2] is it possible to save all playback as a movie clip in standalone mode?
i know these are newbie questions, thanks again

Hello brenski
WhiteCap already selects the ColorSchemes and WaveShapes at random. The default interval setting for both is set to 20 seconds. You can shorten the interval time by going into the Preference file.
Locate: WaveShape.Slideshow.Interval.Duration = 20
Change this to: WaveShape.Slideshow.Interval.Duration = "12 + rnd( 10 )"
Locate: ColorScheme.Slideshow.Interval.Duration = 20
Change this to: ColorScheme.Slideshow.Interval.Duration = "11 + rnd( 10 )"
Not able to offer any help regarding recording. You could contact SoundSpectrum by clicking on the link below:-

if i create a 1hr mp3 file and play it in whitecap standalone
can i save the playback with sound and video?
if so, how?
If you're running on Win10, you can investigate using the built-in Game DVR to record audio and video. Open the Win10 settings app (Windows+I) and search for Game mode.
Cheers!
