I'm new to WhiteCap and trying to understand it. I have a number of questions:
1. I am trying to create a pure white wave color. Seeing a preset for Black, I figured I'd duplicate that file (/User/Library/Application Support/SoundSpectrum/WhiteCap/Packages/WhiteCap.ColorScheme.package/ on OSX) and try to edit the values. The original Black values are:
R="0"
G="0"
B="0"
Clrs="{ {0,0,0}, {0,0,0}, {0,0,0} }"
Vers=500
I understand the RGB, but not the format needed for the Clrs like. This is what I tried:
R=“255”
G=“255”
B=“255”
Clrs="{ {2,5,5}, {2,5,5}, {2,5,5} }"
Vers=500
The result was a largely white screen with the wave still black.
So my first problem is trying to make the wave pure white. Can anyone help?
2. Am I correct to understand that the standalone and iTunes packages save their preferences separately, even though they draw on the same Application Support folder and its contents?
3. Can more than one Custom folder under Background Images be added? Or you have to stick with moving images in and out of only one?
4. I don't understand the 1,2,3,4,5 Set function on the bottom left. What does this do? I'm hoping it's to save configurations so I can make at least five and swap between them. But it's not apparent how exactly this works.
Thanks for any pointers
