Standalone use browser as audio sync source?

Post by caesium »

Can the standalone use music playing through my browser as its audio sync, either through the browser itself or my audio output?

It currently only shows the inputs on my PC, which I never use.

What version of Windows and WhiteCap Platinum are you using?

The Standalone needs to be configured to use the output of your built-in soundcard to respond to internet audio. Depending on your soundcard this output is typically named "stereo mix", "what u hear", "built-in output", or similar. See the following FAQ for more info.

For Standalone, how do I turn on the "stereo mix" audio source in Windows Vista / Windows 7?
